Art Journal

I wanted to paint in one of my art journals but I never got around to it. On my vacation I decided to try it and I think she turned out pretty well. I am amazed how well the paper in this journal takes paint, doesn't bleed through, and holds it's shape. Usually I just draw and write in my journals, but now I will definately paint more in them. Time to do some packing. Blessings, Beth

Last Weeks Angel

Here are a couple pictures of last week's Angel sold on Ebay.....I painted her after I came back from vacation in Hilton Head where the weather was absolutely beautiful!

I put the wheels into motion for a transfer and low and behold, it happened!!! I start work in Hilton Head on Sept 13th...

I had to go down this weekend to find a place to live. I found a wonderful apartment 2 blocks from the beach! Now I have to pack and move. (hehe) I have alot of work ahead of me, but NO SNOW!!!

Packing tonight for Hilton Head

Kingwood Center in Mansfield, Ohio is a beautiful and peaceful place to stroll on a pretty day. They change the flowers seasonally so you can go many times throughout the year and it is different. I never get tired of it's charm...

Yesterday, Ben, Barbie, Haden, Hannah and I went canoeing on the Mohican River. After lunch we went to Kingwood Center in Mansfield before returning home. GREAT DAY! Here are the pics...

I can't believe it is the 12th of August already!

You know, I took a small vacation from painting for a little while to have some summer fun, and when I woke up it was August!!! So I pulled out the paints and started painting every chance I got. These are some of the paintings I have done in the last couple weeks.

Tomorrow I am going canoeing with Ben, Barbie, Haden and Hannah, at the Mohican River in Loudenville, Ohio. It is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from here. We will leave early to get there about 9am and canoe for about 2 hours. After we get back to the car, we will drive to Riceland, Ohio and eat at Bishop's (home of the nutty muffit, and FANTASTIC onion rings). Hopefully my Mom and Dad will meet us there for lunch. Later we will go to Kingwood Center in Mansfield and then back home. It should be a fantastic day. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I will post some pics of the day tomorrow night.

I work on Friday and then leave from work for vacation!!! Back to Hilton Head for more summer fun! YEAH!!! I will be doing some painting there for sure.
