Memorial Day Weekend

High Everyone! I hope you are having a lovely long weekend. I am having a regular weekend as I have to return to work on Monday morning at 6am. On a lighter note it has been a beautiful weekend here in paradise. Hot and sunny! The only rain here was early this morning. I painted 4 this weekend but only listed 2 on Ebay tonight. They are similar to 2 that I painted before. If you are off tomorrow I am jealous. Have fun, blessings, Beth

April is almost over...

April is almost over now and the busy season is starting up. I like the hustle and bustle of the busy season here in the low country. Everything is so green and pretty here and the weather gets warmer every day. I was a tourist so much here and I can relate to the vacationers who come for the sun and sand and golf. It truly is paradise. I have been painting this weekend so here are some pics. Have a wonderful week wherever you are. Beth

Beautiful Weekend!!!

The weather has been fabulous all week here at the island. I painted all weekend and now I will be getting ready for the traffic this week. The Heritage Open (Golf Tourney) starts tomorrow and goes through the 18th. It is fun to see all the vacationers here now and remember when I was the vacationer. Here are paintings on Ebay tonight. Easter 2010

Tears for Bill

I was driving to breakfast Saturday morning when I got the call that my baby sister's husband Bill had died from a heart attack. I always carry a pencil and drawing pad with me and draw whenever I can. Especially in restaurants because it takes the focus from why am I there alone to the attraction to what I am drawing. Anyway in my sadness I drew this angel and then rushed home to paint her. I will be traveling to Ohio this coming week for the memorial service and spend some time with family. Bill Brown was a firefighter and well loved in their small town of Wooster, Ohio. We will all miss you Bill.
