Busy Painting all week...
I have had a busy week painting. I listed 7 tonight on Ebay. Yesterday I watched Ohio State play while I was painting. I don't get the big 10 network here, so I was glad to see them on ESPN. For several weeks I have listened to them play on Scarlet and Gray radio on the computer, but watching is so much better. Here are the girls for this week. I am scanning a picture I drew this week that has a funny story to go with it. I will publish it soon. Have a wonderful week all. I will be painting in Paradise (after work of course). Blessings, Beth

Busy Weekend Painting...
I have had a busy weekend painting. Halloween got the better of my creative juices this weekend and I painted a gothic girl. Once I had the girl done I could not put the brushes down. It was very warm on Saturday but cooler today. Sunny and beautiful... I listened to the Buckeyes win on Saturday while I painted. These are the paintings on Ebay this week.
Have a fabulous week and don't work too hard.
Blessings, Beth

Wonderful Weekend in Paradise...
I just spent 2 wonderful days in Savannah with my parents. On Saturday we went to Savannah and drove around looking at the beautiful mansions in the Historic and Victorian Districts. Then we drove out to Tybee Island. Today, we drove back to Savannah and took the Old Town Trolley Tour and spent some time on River Street. The weather has been perfect and Mom and I have walked the beach each morning. It truly is like paradise.... I have also just listed 2 more paintings on Ebay tonight. I just love them both...Have a wonderful week wherever you are...Blessings, Beth

New Angels on Ebay this week....
Three angels this week on Ebay. I finally have everything in place here so I can paint after work every day. It is hard to believe that I have been here a month. It is chilly here today. 63 when I got done working today. There is a light breeze blowing but the sun is bright.
Yesterday after church 8 of us tried circle dancing. It was fun and the music was really good. We did it to send peace energy out into the world. ( and for fun and fellowship) I just Love my new church. The special music was presented by Ian Lowe (keyboard) and Laura Beth Wells (vocals). They are both very talented and now appearing in the Arts Center's production of Cabaret here on the island. They are also engaged.
I spent the rest of yesterday afternoon at the movie theatre...Sea Turtle Cinema in Bluffton. I saw Law Abiding Citizen and then I went to see Couple's Retreat. I liked both. If you plan on seeing both on the same day as I did, see Law Abiding Citizen first. Although this movie is very good and keeps you wondering, it is rather dark subject matter and I like ending my day with either heart warming fuzzies or comedy. Both were very entertaining. I just love seeing movies on the big screen. I also think there is nothing better than movie theatre popcorn. Yummmmmmmmm...
After such a busy day, I came home and quietly drew angels in my little notebook. A lovely day indeed. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Blessings, Beth

Finally unpacked and settled in...
I am finally unpacked and painting again. I have missed painting so much, but I will tell you that there are so many distractions here. First of all the weather has been so beautiful. Sunshine and in the 80's every day makes me want to explore the great outdoors. Even though I have been here many times on vacations, I find new things to see and do everyday.
Today I got up and went to the Unity Church of Hilton Head Island.
It was a positive and wonderful experience with a message that really hit home for me.
The music was uplifting and beautiful. The piano music was played by Janice Creech and the singing by Peggy Trecker. Such fabulous talent is rarely seen at church.
The congregation made me feel right at home leading me through the service.
Not long after the service was over Rev. Justin Epstein stopped by the house to personally welcome me and he gave me a welcome packet and a lovely book to read.
I feel I have found my new home at last.
I have been listening to the music I have uploaded here on playlist and painting.
Tonight I listed two paintings on Ebay. Here they are....Have a wonderful week...Blessings, Beth

Packing tonight...again
Packing tonight... Moving is such an emotional time for me. What to keep, what not to keep. So much to do and so little time to do it in. The rain doesn't help. Soon I will be done with this and on to new things. I am packing art supplies and they will probably take up half the truck! I hate to put them away for now because I know I will have the urge to paint. This weekend I will unpack and everything will be fine again. Blessings to all, Beth

Art Journal
I wanted to paint in one of my art journals but I never got around to it. On my vacation I decided to try it and I think she turned out pretty well. I am amazed how well the paper in this journal takes paint, doesn't bleed through, and holds it's shape. Usually I just draw and write in my journals, but now I will definately paint more in them. Time to do some packing. Blessings, Beth
